| Jaaka Giha | Who wants $20?? posted on: 10/4/2005 2:48:42 PM A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air. My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. You are special- Don't EVER forget it." If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring. Count your blessings, not your problems. And remember: amateurs built the ark . professionals built the Titanic. |

replied on: 10/6/2005 7:43:12 AM hugzzzzz muh sistah , this is tru , except when stress can just totally consume ones body , they say God doesnt give us more than we can handle , seems He is on a roll with me right now , I'm not sure which direction to look right now ,I'm too old for all this crap thats happening in my life , 1 week of unstressd sounds like heaven to me right now , now i know Your wondering wff is happening with me cause i'm never in a bad mood , so here goes , 1)my mom has sucha horrid infection in her leg right thru the bone that they need to amputate , my Mom doesnt want this and wants to be with my Dad in heaven , so she turnrd down the operation , till finally the Dr told her she could live month and months with the infection , and the way she would suffer from it would be unhumain ,,, now she has chosen the operation , but still , we all know she will never come home nor will she walk 2) daughter havin a tough pregnancy , they have a great sonagram of Him , but they need to go back and do another cause they didnt see all the valves in His heart they want a clear pic of that cause she has been bleeding the whole time , shes being poked probed all that good stuff and i'm so far away from her , i feel lost 3) someone decided to try and pull our big contract out from under us and under bid us alot , now i'm in a bidding war for something that is mine I pray I still have the contract , except in the end we shall loose money , but least we still shall keep it , and i do not know how to do chitty work like the people that are bidding against us , sooo for a much lower price they gonna get the same awesome work from us ,,, just *shakes my head here,,,,, I don't get it , if it aint broken why fix it , !!!! am sure theres more cept thoes are the bigest things laying in my lap right now , |
