replied on: 12/5/2005 6:46:11 PM I didn't get a chance to read much on this post... but right at the moment I have a need to express my appreciation so here goes I love the small kindnesses strangers show to one another I love the wisdom of listening to a child I love the acts of passion taken out of sure weakness in love I love natures gifts in all its glory I love a friends ear when I need it I love fur I love a distant view I love to get up in the morning and work on the things my day requires I love Queens talented members I love to hear my cell phones special ring (Just my boys have that ring!) I love men and women who get up everyday to make it a better day for someone else I love the security of arms lol I could go on but I need to get moving again Vivienne Free Women Fortress of Saphronicus |

replied on: 12/21/2005 9:22:54 AM The scent of the real pine christmas tree Evander set up in living room... all the prezziez under the tree and the boys shaken em to try to fig out what is what... the rush you feel with the holiday approaching fast and the thrill of it all... the holiday specials on tv...grabs box of kleenex for all those Halmark movies..sniffs and blowsssss finding new recipes from friends... hunting round the house for hidden gifts....lol... loves the holiday season in itself...there are those of the giving spirit that hold the true meaning still close to thier hearts...I pray that they are never overshadowed and bless each and everyone one of them... at our house to teach my boys the true meaning and gift of the holiday season is not receiving but the warmth and happiness of giving...we do a family in need with kids and the boys buy the kids of that family 1 gift each no matter how small with thier own money...they have gotten to where they look forward to this each year as a tradition and enjoy shopping for others...cant ask for more than that in your own kids... Merry Christmas |

replied on: 12/21/2005 10:12:16 AM ~ what a hard time to answer this , I so love Christmas , This year it shall be all differant , as our oldest daughter is so far away unable to travel in the last months of her pregnancy , gawd Hos I miss her already specially when she calls this morn crying on how she wants to come home , here i'am on the other side of the phone , holding my breath so she could not hear my tears calming her down telling her all will be ok , to me Christmass is not about the presants its about being together as she just learned , she doesnt want the pressies , she wants her family , Christmas morn is my home made egg Mc Muffins , the songs playing thru the entire house , the way my grown up children run to their stockings ( which of course I did send her and son0in-law theirs) Its the last min rush in the house getting all the neices pressies together , watching our kids relate to each other the way they hug each other tight , the laughter as we all sit around talking of Chritmass past and Christmas future , the "new" things in their lives that they want to share with each other , the way each one of us sits in a certain spot if YOU dare sit in anothers watch out , You will have to move , the sounds of the Chorus at mass the candles flickering , ( i do hate the smell thoes incence thoe )the way people interact with each other at Church , the peacefull feeling of looking around the Church , and yes even the screaming kid durring the service makes me smile May Your Christmas be peacefull , I know that I for one will say silently a prayer to each of us that are unable to have the ones we Love so dear , be with us .
