I was "politely" told it was within the City Walls that governed this rule. Soooo, the Keep and Jort's Ferry requires a 30 day get acquainted time and it's upheld for all: new, new character, or a returning character.The Free are encouraged to travel around during this period to get acquainted with other Goreans.

The slaves coming to the Keep are given a HomeStone collar and cant beg a personal from anyone for at least 30 days.

There is no such thing as an unowned slave, as all of us have been told numerous times in other threads and circumstances. Can't have it both ways. With that in mind, there is no such thing as a slave observing PERIOD
If they have Gorean slave in their ID and not showing owned, they are open for collaring. What others do is their business but if the person wants time to think about their role they should put observing Gor/date and nothing more. When observing, why is it necessary to put Free or slave in their ID? Doesnt make sense.
