I don't care if this man was a free, he is someone who has been decreed persona non grata in VooDoo therefore he loses all rights over any slave, much like Kusi/Nazareth here. I'd venture a guess that no free in halsoft would expect their slaves to treat this man as a Gorean and certainly not as a Master. Just because you don't like/agree with it doesn't mean it's wrong, it simply means he has a different take on Gor than you do. It would be nice to see people move away from the "You're wrong" "I'm right" train of thought. No one here is a perfect gorean, not even goreans in the books were perfect goreans. Gor is a diverse society, read enough books and you will see a wide range of slaves with varying behaviors and rights. I point you specifically to sura in Assassin. But the one thing that remains consistant is all they do, they do by command of those who own them. I pointed out earlier that too often slaves are forced to take the fallout of their owner's alternate beliefs/actions and it's not fair. If she didn't do what the man said she would be called a bad slave for disobeying her owner. Yet she does as commanded and people still want to say "bad slave!". For the record this goes way beyond Devon and taraa they are just the latest example in a long line of Goreans accused of unmaster-like and unslave-like behavior. It's really time for people to live and let live. If we wanted to start pointing out every unGorean behavior that people exhibit we'd be here for days. As for athena, it's hard to justify your post. You step OOC, then speak of role-play removing your own Master's collar turning PG and hunting down a FW. You couldn't have given a better example of how not to act as a slave. Role-play or non Role-play, It's either one or the other. You can't come here and assume the right of both within a single post. You added nothing positive to this thread and only further served to give people a negative impression of VooDoo Gor. If you have issues with Tharae then perhaps your owner can handle them or, as I suggested to her, you can simply swallow the bitter pill and move on. I will echo my own words and those of several others here, what happens in VooDoo needs to stay in VooDoo, same with Halsoft. |

Voodoo Goreans have a freedom here they don't have in Voodoo. We won't ban em from the entire program if we dont like what they say or if they post on a board we don't approve of. *snickers* However, I will state here that I don't expect any full out attacks on Hal free by Voodoo sluts. That'll get yer stuff tossed, closed or just plain banned. I do believe if the Rules of this Board are read, it states in there that slaves cannot post OOC here and can only post with permission of their owners. I will need to go back and check. If I'm incorrect I will edit stating so. I wish you all well. |

In a post on her own board, athena stated she was kajira on and offline (which always gives me a chuckle for obvious reasons) but following that sentiment how then does she justify having stepped OOC to post? If she believes she is kajira on and offline then OOC would still mean she is kajira, right? Makes the brain ache I can tell you and since I realize she can no longer respond here I do welcome a private message if she chooses to explain. |
