Can she teach a slave passion in serving a Man? Would she really want to teach a slave only to have her Campion go off with the slave, instead of being with her? I know in the book Fighting slave jason was trained by a female slaver, but all the lesson were taught by other slaves. I can only see a slaver training a slave to be sold, not a scribe or a Green Caste trainning a slave to please Men. Would a Fw really know how I would want my slave to please me? Grethos |

Your post is a pet peeve of mine. I have always had a problem with free women in HalGor owning slaves. Now I understand in the books many did for various reasons, but I fail to see how those reasons fit into our setting. To me free women owning slaves have two motives, either to attract men or to protect the slave. Frankly if a slave needs safeguarded from the harshness of Gorean Men and Gor, they do not belong here. Once again, compromise and ignorance cloud judgment. I suppose any FW could train the basics of some serves, as they are supposed to have been taught this when they were young as well. But prepare a slave to please a man (which I am assuming you mean sexually), is playing around in a place I do not think any free woman that respected herself or her freedom would go. Would she really want to teach a slave only to have her Campion go off with the slave, instead of being with her? Only if she was a foolish woman. Would a Fw really know how I would want my slave to please me? She possibly could, but I doubt she would remain free for long, quickly her heat would catch up to her and so would the collar, this happened repeatedly in the books. |

Pleasing a man by being respectful and behaving properly then yeah I think an FW would be able to train them. Pleasing a man sexually well, would have to say, in my opinion, probably not, I wouldn't want to. |

replied on: 10/10/2006 9:47:40 AM No a FW would not know how to train a slave to my desires, but then neither would another FM as he is not me and would not know my quirks, desires and interests. A Slaver may teach a slave postions, commands and dances, but they cannot teach them to burn for thier owners touch. Only the master has that ability. |
