replied on: 11/10/2006 6:54:15 AM This had nothing to do with a slave calling abondment. They were the ones that stated clearly they would honor what happened in 1 chat in all chats. They left Hal almost 2 years ago and as such gave up all rights in Hal to anything here. There were 8 names banned NS, not 1 not 2 but 8. That consitutes violation of the dualing policies we as a community have agreed to. So you want to welcome a name that you may not know who is behind it be my guest. I for one will not condone nor agree to something like this and know for a fact if it had been me everyone of you would have jumped the chance to say I had no rights any longer. |

Perhaps they think they are better than everyone else and thus don't feel the same guidelines govern their actions as the rest of us. And NS, you go right ahead and accept pachisha in your home if you so desire. But when the wool is pulled off your eyes for the final time and you can't yank it back down again, don't come crying to anyone else. The truth has been laid out for all to see, several times. This is not conjecture, falsehood, or malicious rumour. These are facts that those two have even admitted themselves in the past! And if you want proof, do your own research. It's all here on this very board. (although if they stay true to form, it will have been edited out 2 years later). So put the blinders on your own eyes. That is certainly your right to do so. But you place yourself in the unfortunate position of appearing foolish before your peers. |

replied on: 11/10/2006 9:56:39 AM Agrees with D, Willow the reigstry has had Brundisium open for well over a year as well as any other city they claimed to have held. The original post clearly stated because of the facts presented they would not be recognized this time around. They ran from Hal when confronted and the truth started coming forth and headed for Voodoo, in Voodoo they were kicked out of the first server they were involved with and as I understand it most there will not house them now. My question is are we that desperate that we will put blinders on and allow them to crawl back to our home where we have been working to make things better for all concerned? I for one am not and won't. |

replied on: 11/10/2006 10:56:21 AM For the record NS, nothing I posted was hearsay. I will not publicly post anything I do not have firsthand knowledge of. Most of what I posted could've been backed up at one time by posts on this very board had the woman in question not deleted out her old posts and entire threads in some instances. The other information I learned firsthand through personal dealings. No one is asking you to dog anyone. People have simply chosen to go on record and make their feelings known in regard to these two individuals. Some posted simply that they want nothing to do with them. Others, like myself, decided to go one step further and exlain why. As my post said in the closed thread, we are each able and free to make our own decisions. Personally I feel as a community this is one of those occasions where everyone needs to stand together unified and demand that they adhere to the same stringent rules that have been applied to others. There is no viable claim to Brundisium here in halsoft. It has been vacated for a period of years now, not months. And as Beast pointed out, there were 8 names all told that had to be banned. 8! That alone says it all. Everyone will do what they feel is right. I'm just a firm believer that informed decisions are better than ignorant (meaning no knowledge of misdeeds) ones. |

I ain't got a thin' 'gainst publically statin' who yer choosin' to roleplay with an' who not. In fact, I think it needs to be done more! But...I do think the reasons should be posted, right o' wrong, and the person should be able to speak in rebuttal 'bout 'em. I also think that Pac and Aisha shouldn't have all their names banned 'ere, 'cause now yer takin' 'way their right to rebuttal. I believe that since they are the topic at 'and 'ere, then they should be 'llowed a name to respond with. Seems only fair to me. Esoteric stated that there ain't no 100% proof, an' guess wot? There don't 'ave to be 100% proof. With or without it, folks are gonna make up their minds 'bout it based on wot they've read from both parties involved. Denyin' the second party jest don't seem right in this case, Beast, e'en though I understand yer reasonin' why. Thanks for the info. |

replied on: 11/10/2006 2:50:25 PM Where you maybe right that they have a right to rebuttal Ratchet, when the Moderator started digging and found so many names [and as they put it they now have to wonder if there were any others they could have missed] It was jointly agreed that by the boards own rules they were all to be banned. They had a chance to rebuttal, however instead chose to add the last name to the collection. Maybe they should have given that thought when they used that 8th name to post here under. ~returns to my studies~ |

I got the one name and glad to have it  Secondly it was not rp it was a joke, so please do keep it in context when you are ranting. I was not aware I had posted the page address, but perhaps I have more secret admirers than I thought! Do I visit gorean pages? Yes. Do I have fun with my friends in that name? Absolutely. Have I ever been to YOUR home in that name and had a rousing good time (with YOU, NS, and Merlote in presence) and NOT ONE BLOODY PERSON said they had an issue with it? YOU BET YER ASS I HAVE. If you had an issue with it before, you should have said something about it. You didn't. Since you apparently (by your silence) did not take issue to my being there in a non-gor persona before, you have little excuse to do so now. I believe that settles the issue. |

replied on: 11/12/2006 9:11:13 PM Last I checked it isn't considered dauling to have two names if one isn't Gorean, yet when one acts or role-plays with the non-Gorean name it becomes Gorean. So you kind of have a catch 22. Dra you know those in and outs and if you haven't caught on by now Corbert holds grudges and jumps really quick without looking. stop poking him to get his attention woman, simply allow him to jump into traffic and be run over by the truck that he'll surely not see coming. |

As a man of Tyros, I have difficulty with a man who openly maligns one of the women of Tyros without just cause. For one, dualing is not having 2 names in chat (IE: Non Gorean and Gorean) it is having 2 names for the intent of deception. Never once has Drakani deceived anyone with either name, including yourself as you obviously knew she had both names. Before anyone steps forward to point the accusing finger at any of the women of Tyros, please have all your facts straight. Deleting the post and adding a (.) Does not change the fact the words were said and the injustice done. You would have done better to have posted an apology rather then a (.). Next time you have an issue with the women of Tyros I would appreciate an IM preferably over a post on the public board. Thank you, |
