| x.Keylee.x Forest Panther | obs unsafe since when? posted on: 11/25/2006 8:25:51 PM I was recently surfing around and came upon something askew. A page where obs is unsafe. The room itself was a safe zone yet however obs in the same room was not. So in essence you could be in obs letting the room load or be afk a moment and get slain. Since when did people decide obs is no longer safe? It has always been considered a safe spot to park your av when afk or for those "observing" gor to watch and learn. I realize some are concerened about people skulking in obs, if you do not want anyone in obs then make it a private room or use a password. struts back to the forest, tail out of whack once again  |

replied on: 11/25/2006 10:57:35 PM Ohhhh didn't it become unsafe when that noak thingy had FW in obs arrested? But I'm not sure if that happened before or after Luther, in his infinite wisdom, arrested a FW in obs. Hmmmmm. Once again, obs is meant to be a place for... you guessed it, observation hence the name. I don't think I would much recognize those that couldn't draw that simple conclusion. However, that said, if you are there to observe, common courtesy to the paranoid would be a friendly IM such as: Hiya. I'm here to observe. Do you mind? It's just that simple. Of course, there are always those antagonistic individuals who will park in obs all night long just to make the paranoid even more so. In a future life, I plan on becoming one of those antagonizing obs lurkers... -grins- |

replied on: 12/15/2006 10:00:34 PM Depends on the laws of the land, you don't like them you don't go there. My lands state after three warning obs is unsafe, there is principle behind that fact. If you can't actually speak or voice to Me in an Im and I've asked 3 times to enter or leave than whatever happens, happens. I don't see that as unreasonable in the least bit. |
