replied on: 5/12/2003 10:14:52 AM RAVENLOFT?!? CAMPAIGN?!? YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Ok, I think that about covers the enthusiasm bit quite well, now as to the rest... You say that you will be playing with the 3rd Edition rules, which is fine by me except for one itsy-bitsy little minor detail type thingy...I HATE 3RD EDITION RULES. But hey, I'll tell you what. The only books that I even allow in my house are 2nd Edition and earlier, so if you give me a loose set of rules and regs for this thing, I'll give it a try. Let me know what classes and races I have to work with. As far as skills and feats go, I am of the opinion that they ruined the game, a fact which I proved to a diehard 3rd edition player when I made a 3rd edition character just for kicks one day. Needless to say, that 1st level character kicked the crap out of everything that he threw at me and then kicked the crap out of his 15th level fighter (mine was a ranger). No BS, I just used the rules against him, if the book said it could be done, I did it. I have a bad habit of doing that. Anyway, if you want me along, I'll certainly try not to ruin it for you, that is all I can promise... |

replied on: 5/12/2003 2:18:29 PM You cannot ruin anything, as I guarantee I am worse than you at creating "ultimates." The races, classes, and feats allowed are those from the Ravenloft 3E hardback, which I cannot just cut and paste into here. I am still deciding if I want this to be 3E or not, as it's been nearly 4 years since I last ran something different. So, until I know more from those who wish to play, and have enough people to do it, this is still just an idea. |
