replied on: 5/21/2003 8:17:11 AM Well, well, well... Everyone seems to have exceptional attribute scores. How nice for me. I know Mistress' are valid, as I saw her roll them. I really do not care if you flubbed them, or invented them, but I will say this: the odds of the scores rolled are slim... so, there is "something" amiss. Your stats will not save you, though, because of them, you will find more powerful monsters and such are drawn to you. Such is the hell of Ravenloft. This will become a test of your ability to play, and not a test of your math skills. Try it, and your character suffers. This is the second warning. |

If there is one thing that i cannot stand above all else, it is being accused of something that I have not, will not and WOULD NEVER do. Lying just doesn't suit me. If you don't like the character, I shall remove it, simple enough. If you continue with these accusations, however, this forum shall find itself short one member very soon as I will leave. |

replied on: 5/21/2003 10:15:30 AM Guys, just settle down. Lobian, I understand where you are coming from. Statistically, those high scores (on all of our characters) is a slim chance. Just some people are better die rollers than others. Lobian, you KNOW that to be true, as you KNOW I SUCK at rolling dice. Maly, I understand where you are coming from. Being truthful on a board over the internet on something like that can be taken the wrong way. There are statistics, and eventually, we will roll low, it is a given. Statistics just work that way. Lobian is not implying that you are lying Maly, he's just saying that statistically, its rare that someone would roll above average every time. I'm sure you will miss some rolls, as I'm sure we ALL will. Just calm down, and realize that we don't know eachother, and somethings being said will be taken the wrong way. just step back a moment and look at it from a different perspective. |

replied on: 5/21/2003 8:09:24 PM Yeah, mine are in love with me when it comes to stat creation, but as soon as the game starts, they turn into little monsters that can't roll above a three. Besides, I errer. Stats are not everything to a character. They help yes, which is why there will be a little more challenging things thrown atthe party, but they are not the "end all, be all" of the character. I'd like to see how it goes. Though, it is statistically interesting, it is not impossible. |
