During her childhood, she quickly learned that in her heart she was more of a warrior than of a priestess and begged to be trained as such. Allowed to train, she met with the head of the Rogue guild, and studied their art. Not only trained as a fighter, but skilled in poison and traps as well, in each she excelled. Years passed, and she continued her training, each year she grew stronger, almost to the point of besting her master. By the time she reached her 30th year, Matron Mother of the Qu`ellar Xorlarrin, raged war on a nearby house. The war only lasted a few days, with the Xorlarrins being wiped out entirely, with the exception of Shi`Nayne. Not wanting to be killed for being the only surviving member, Shi`Nayne went into hiding. One night, days after her 90th birthday, the young Shi`Nayne heard a calling, told to seek out the remaining living member of the House Vel`Nar. Grinning to herself, she answers the calling, and explores the ruins of the old House. Finding nothing, she again, hears the voice. Following its instructions, she packs, ready to take on the Upper World, seeking out this person, known only to her as Arwyn Mori'quessir. For weeks she traveled, not knowing where this quest was leading her, until one night, she heard the voice again. Its dark, haunting laughter, following her every footstep. Realizing her mistake, she knew that no longer she could go back Underground. She was doomed forever, to walk in the sun’s light, banished from her previous life. -=More to come as I write this=- |
