Since this is EverQuest RPG, some of the content is closed and I can not repost the elements needed for full character creation (spells, etc.), where I can post some (feats, skills, equipment, etc.). What I can do, without breaking or imposing on the content laws, is have you tell me exactly what you want for your character, and I can create the character for you, then you have me change it as to what you want. That's the only way I can think of doing it, unless you go and buy the books yourself. The PHB is $35 I think. |

replied on: 5/16/2003 10:01:37 AM It is not complicated. The OGL specifically forbids distribution in any format of content not specifically marked as open content. While EQ RPG is a d20, OGL-compliant game system, it is NOT entirely OGC, and neither is D&D. Some aspects, like the point buy system can be replicated, some skills can be, some feats can be, though they have been renamed in some cases, but NO spells can be, and NO class rules can, and NO race rules can be, so, there's a huge limit on what can legally be told to you. Easiest thing, either buy the book or just say "I wanna play a gnome enchanter," or whatever else you happen to want, and do the attributes yourself,as that can be disclosed. Ofcourse, when it comes to finishing the character, it gets hard, especially with spellcasters, but we can find a way, I promise. |

replied on: 5/18/2003 9:38:04 AM Honestly, I can't decide without seeing the strengths and weaknesses of each race as they are displayed in game terms. It is the same with classes, I generally take a race that is somthing unique to me that I think I will enjoy playing, think on it for a bit and come up with a character idea. Then, I'll find a class that best suits that race and outfit it with proficiencies/skills/feats to make an even deadlier character out of it...hehehe |
