Description: Born in the mountains of Sithicus, Belar was a happy child, always exploring the areas around his home when not working at learning the family craft of stonemasonry. In his 8th summer, his life would change forever. While out exploring one afternoon, he heard the sounds of battle coming from off in the direction of home. He quickly raced home to see what was going on, only to arrive in time to see his mother struck down by a huge orc known to the dwarves only as "Glarn". Picking up a fallen mace nearby, the youngster charged the orc, thinking only of his mother and hoping she was alright. The orc sneered at Belar and readied himself for the pathetic assault he knew was to come. It never did. Belar screamed the name of the dwarven all-father "Reorx" at the top of his lungs and swung the mace with all the might in his little 8 year old frame. What happened next is still spoken of to this day among the Elders of the Stoneweaver clan. The mace began to glow brighter and brighter in the boy's hands as it drew nearer and nearer to Glarn. The orc brought up his own weapon to block the mace and when the two weapons struck, the orc's weapon shattered with a thunderous crack. The mace continued on to its target unimpeded, striking the orc full in the side of the head. His skull crushed like a rotten fruit beneath a boot, Glarn fell to the ground, lifeless and Belar passed out from exhaustion. It was not until almost a week later that Belar awoke and informed his parents of his wish to join the clergy of Reorx. He explained to them that the God had spoken with him while he slept and told him that he must become a Cleric in His service, for he would be much needed in the times to come. His parents met this wild children's tale with some mild skepticism at first, of course, but they began noticing things about Belar that they had not before. For one, there was a newfound fire burning inside the lad that any fool could clearly see was not there before, second some other dwarves, Clerics in the service of Reorx themselves, had come to their house requesting to speak with the boy about vision that they had had of him and third, every dwarf that tried to touch that mace could not move it, even the clerics, only Belar could and no one could imagine why an 8 year old boy would be able to do what they could not. So, faced with those facts, his parents let him join the priesthood. He was a fast learner as far as dogma went, learning the rituals, sacraments and blessings at an astonishing rate. It was a while before he was trained in weapons, but he learned the mace and dagger quite well. He had an uncanny knack for magic, though, calling on Reorx to empower him to the end he sought. Never has his faith wavered even slightly, nor has there been any reason why it should. If anything, it has only gotten stronger as time has passed. He has been traveling to some of the outlying dwarven communities within these last years, offering his aid and assistance where it is needed. He is well known among the dwarves and they welcome his arrival. He feels that something important is about to happen to him, though, something that he feels he was selected to face long ago and this will be no easy task for him, but Reorx shall prevail.

I will allow the dagger proficiency to slide on this, though technically, a cleric cannot have it. Consider it a bonus. I have not decided which Domain to place you in, as I have a question: you just worship the Dwarven ubergod in general? In Sithicus, they call him Reorx, and in others, where there are dwarves (not many domains have them) he would be Moradin or Dumathoin (depends on what aspect). Basically, I just need to know how you view the dwarven religion.

What kind of rations did you buy? There are three types...

How much gold did you begin the game with? It seems you've rolled yet another incredible score on only 3 dice... good for you. How much is left? Consider carefully, as your answer will determine if this game continues.

I have no gold left...none, nada, I had to give all that remained back to my church, as they were the ones outfitting me to begin with...(at least, that is what it says in the PHB under the "Money and Equipment" section)

As for the god thing, I only know of a few Dwarven gods off the top of my head...Dumathoin, Clangeddin/Reorx and I think that about covers it. That is why I chose Clangeddin/Reorx, I can't really mess it up too badly because he is "The" god of that particular pantheon...

The reason I chose the dagger proficiency at all is because I was not sure what sort of weapons Clerics that worshipped Clangeddin could use...Traditional dwarven weapons? ie battleaxes and such, as soon as I thought of it, I figured the answer was a firm and resounding "NO" and daggers are fairly common for anyone as a backup weapon, so I figured, why not?

And I really, REALLY wish that you could have been here to see 3 6's come up as the multiplier for my starting cash, I HATE being called a liar, which is basically what you are implying...

Whatever. You did not come out as having that much money, unless you had purchased something not listed... so it doesn't matter. If you lie, you lie. I don't give a shit. The game is a game, and it will be played like one.

I've got some information for you; please note these:

Fear Save: 13
Horror Save: 15
Madness Save: 18

Fearless: +2 Race bonus on Fear saves, in addition to any Wisdom bonus.

These are the standard Ravenloft adjustments for your Race and Class.

As your background ability:

3/Day you may suffer a -2 penalty on your attack roll. If you hit, you inflict double damage +4. If you miss, the use is wasted. You suffer a -2 AC penalty the round after using this ability, and it can only be used 1/turn.
