::Tracing her fingers in the dirt before her, she notices the trail of blood. Grinning darkly, she follows it as best she could, losing its track about 15 feet later. Frowning, she looks up, seeing nothing.::

Bah.

::Sighing softly, she stands, dusting her hands against her thighs, cleaning them.::

What now?

::Walking back to the bar, she searches for any other trail that might show signs of struggle. Seeing none, she frowns slightly, then proceeds the rest of the way to the bar.::

==

::Taking her feet from the bartop, she yawns and looks out over the room, seeing some of the patrons flopped over, their snores reverberating against the walls. Hearing the movement in the other room, she looks over at the entrance and looks at Lobian astonished.::

I thought that surely you were dying the night before...but look at you. Pristine. Interesting...

::Her voice hung on the air for a moment::

Ready for breakfast?

Appearing the next morning still in the robe from the eve before, Pardalis looked about as well-rested as he possibly could. He looked to Shadow and spoke softly.

::Shrugging::

It was boring, as most are. And yours?

"I rested..." Something akin to amusement lurked in his golden eyes. "You speak of boredom, milady? What would ye prefer? An orcish raid?"

Though that would be interesting, its not what I had in mind. Lately things have been incredibly boring, and nothing aside from wasting away my day seems to cure it.

*looks into her eyes* I told you I would be fine. How much do I owe?

"Well, I canna promise to be a most intriguing guest here, but I vow that I will do my best not to bore you." A flicker of a smile passed over Pardalis' face, those golden eyes glittering.

The room is 1gp a night, and includes your morning meal? Are you interested in eating now?

::Shadow glances over to Pardalis::

Its been awhile since I have truly been amused.

::She draws back to grab some glasses from the rack, filling them with a amber-hued liquid. Placing them in front of herself, Lobian, and Pardalis::

Drink. This Cider is on me, something to start your morning off with.

Pardalis nodded, properly subdued now with her lack of enthusiasm.

"Forgive me, milady, for assuming that I might cause it to begin today." He reached for the cider and took a deep drink, his eyes lingering on her for a moment before he turned away from the two to sit near the hearth.

The door creaks, as it is opened from the outside. Sunlight pours into the shanty place, as Nacleyen makes her way into the building. As the door closes behind her and the light readjusts, she walks slowly, but methodically up to the counter. Her wild blue eyes bore intensely into the 'tendress, her lush mouth open softly, as if to speak.

"Do you have some hearty ale?" her voice dark and husky, as if she has seen one too many battles.

She sits upon one of the stools, her tall 6 foot frame seems out of place for some reason, as does her flaming orage hair. A strange one, she is.

The fight was harder than he reckoned it was going to be Bahali thought to himself as he staggered into a tree. But then, thats what he liked about hunting Hill Giants, a tough fight. Well, that and a heavy purse. He had remembered to take the Giants coin pouch hadn't he? Reaching down to the bag on his belt he felt it's reassuring weight and grinned. Yea, it was almost always worth it when you could kill one. Taking stock of his wounds he found he was bleeding from a dozen wounds, his left eye was swollen shut and his skull was fractured on that side. No matter, his trollish regeneration and the magic of his armour were already working on healing his wounds. Taking several steps to the next tree he tried to remember where he was headed but it seemed so hard to think, not that it ever came easily. A tavern? Odd just up ahead he saw one through a clearing in the trees. That must be it. He was invited there, wasn't he? Couldn't remember. Who would have invited him? Yet he seemed to think he was. Well they should have food there at the least. And ale. That decided it, he needed a drink and his own flask was long since empty. He felt most of the way healed by now anyway so moving to the doorway he reached for the knob and bent down to clear the doorframe. If he was invited, so be it. If not he would just kill whoever was inside and help himself. Sounded good. Opening the door he stepped through and called out "'Ello dare, what we gotz here?"

Nacleyen's eyes narrow as she focuses on the newcomer. Her nose twitches as if in disgust.

"I believe I asked for a drink." her words calm, but had a slight angry tone underneath.

Her fingers rapped along the wood's surface, hardly containing her anxiousness.

::Shadow giving the red head a sharp gaze, quickly looks up at the troll.::

I haven't seen your type here before. And what is it you wanted? We're a bar, can't you see that?

::Shadow's eyes shone angerly as she poured an Ale and plopped it down in front of the red head, sloshing its contents upon both the wood and the red head. A quick smirk crossed her features.::

No one was attacking right off, that was promising. Bahali makes his way across the tavern to a side table, slowly turing his head side to side taking in all the occupants. Lowering himself onto the stout oaken bench, which groans in protest, he sets his Polearm across the table. With a quick downward slash of his left hand he drives the blade of his cleaver fully a quarter of the way into a wooden plank of the floor releasing it to quiver in place. Removing his helm and setting it on the table he leans back against the cool stones of the tavern wall. Looking back up toward the bar he shouts "Wench! Mez got a bag full o' coins and some o' dem be yurs if'n ya getz over 'ere!"
