We would stage duels whenever we made it to a town, hoping to earn a few coins for our work. For the most part, I just enjoyed it, indulging in drink, women, and general rowdiness. One night, I was out with my brother, having just finished a very complicated "combat," we decided to get drunk. That was a mistake. I awoke in the forest, naked and weaponless, without any sign of my brother. I did not know where I was. Frightened, I set out, resolved to find out what had happened. I came across a small group of goblins. They attacked me, and I barely survived, having taken a wound to the stomach. I stumbled into a rover's band of berserker priests who admired me for my brute strength. They took me in, healed me, and equipped me.
