HD= 1d6+3

Halflings gain a +1 bonus to AC because of Size, not +2. So AC should be 18. Flatfooted=14, Touch=15

They gain a +1 bonus on all attack rolls due to size. Melee=+3, Ranged=+5.

Melee weapon damage is base + Strength modifier. Yours are: Shortsword 1d6+2. Dagger 1d4+2. +6 Ranged Dagger 1d4+2. You hit more often if you throw your daggers, so, you might want to consider that.

Your Fort should be 0 + 3 + 1= 4
Your Ref should be 2 + 4 + 1= 7
Your Will should be 0 + 2 + 1 = 3

You should have 44 skill points.

Bluff : 2 spent
Climb: 4 spent
Disable Device: 3 spent
Escape Artist: 4 spent
Forgery: 3 spent
Hide: 4 spent
Innuendo: 3 spent
Listen: 3 spent
Move Silently: 3 spent
Open Lock: 3 spent
Pick Pocket: 3 spent
Search: 4 spent
Spot: 3 spent
Use Magic Device: 2 spent
Total- 44. Good Job! I've seen a lot of people make mistakes on their first character.

Interesting choice of feat. A "real" powergamer munchkin wouldn't have taken that, and just opted for a single level as a Ranger to get it for free. At least, that's the most popular combo for Rogues.

Looks good otherwise.

See, those things about the halflings are not listed in the SRD, otherwise, I would have had it right the first time, heh. As far as the skills go, thanks for the praise, but that is something I keep VERY close track of, both as a player and as a DM myself, even going so far as to tell a player that they still have unspent skill points and explaining why...I tried to make the most out of the choices I had available. Overall, I am not displeased with the way her skills turned out...it could have been worse. The feat was chosen simply so she could fight with 2 daggers if need be, or the shortsword dagger combo as the opportunity presents itself. Her real asset will be the feat that will allow her to use her dex mod instead of her str mod for attacks, hehehe

Just wanted to let you know that you need to add the following information under SA:

Sneak Attack +1d6 (Ranged can be considered Sneak Attack within 30ft)

Record the following information under SQ:

+2 on Fear Saves (Racial Ability)

Also, adjust your physical skills by your armor check penalty. Physical skills are any skills that have an armor check penalty. Studded Leather is -1.

Sneak attack is your backstab from 2nd edition. It is completely different though. Sneak attack is applied whenever your opponant is denied their Dexterity bonus. Remember: BLUFF IS YOUR FRIEND.

Armor check penalty is what is applied from wearing armor, you are not moving as gracefully as if you were to be wearing simple cloth, so you are penalized. On all physical skills, such as Tumble, Move Silently, Balance, Hide, etc., you take penalties for wearing any armor, as it is restrictive (unless your armor specificly states that it has no armor check penalty)

It makes sense though, I doubt you can Move Silently in full plate with a tower shield. Or even Tumble for that matter. You'd fall on your face and if you tried to Move Silently, you'd be heard for miles around...Heh.

They touched upon this in 2nd edition, in the Rogue's Hdndbook, it just didn't work the same, because Rogues had the only physical movement skills to worry about.

You are alrady proficient with your armor... if you weren't, then your penalities would be much worse. It would effect everything.

This only deals with the price of wearing armor. This effects EVERYONE EQUALLY.

They didn't butcher D&D, they made it more realistic.

How can I be proficient with my armor if the feat is not listed on my sheet? I am not making the connection here...

You automatically gain it as a Rogue. It is listed under Rogue, as a class feature.

quote:
Taken from the SRD

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A rogue's weapon training focuses on weapons suitable for stealth and sneak attacks. Thus, all rogues are proficient with the crossbow (hand or light), dagger (any type), dart, light mace, sap, shortbow (normal and composite), and short sword. Medium-size rogues are also proficient with certain weapons that are too big for Small rogues to use and conceal easily: club, heavy crossbow, heavy mace, morningstar, quarterstaff, and rapier. Rogues are proficient with light armor but not with shields.

It is a feat that you start with for being a Rogue. You don't need to list it as it is common knowledge that goes with being a Rogue. Just like Fighters don't have to list that they start with all non-exotic weapons proficiencies and all armor proficiencies. Its just common knowledge for a Fighter to have them.

For this purpose though, they are not considered feats, its just a class feature.

Okay, I see that you added the SQ and the SA, but you still need to adjust your physical skills.

They are: Climb, Escape Artist, Hide, Move Silently, and Pick Pocket.

They should all be 1 point less. If you want to get rid of that penalty, then wait until you get 150 extra gold, then you can buy MasterWork Studded Leather which is made so well that you are allowed better flexibility and it has a 0 Armor Check Penalty.

Also, having masterwork items allows you to get them enchanted, so, you'd be one step closer to getting some kickass magic crap.
