Personality: Though most demons and half-demons are known for their foul behaviors Neko adopted the personallities of both his cat-demon father and human mother and as such has a kind, loving, and compasionate attitude toward all life unless that life decides to sour his oppinion of it. He is willing to give anyone a chance. Though his Alignment is Chaotic Good he will follow laws that he has no reason to ignore which is why he is generally accepted by authority figures, at least the good ones anyway. This has earned him a reputation of having a strange mix of Lawful Good and Chaotic Good alignments. He also hates more than anything to have to kill someone. Extras: In addition to his cat-like features, he also has a human form which looks like his normal demon form except his eyes become a clear blue instead of green and his hair becomes green in color, this happens once a month on the night of the new moon. His ears, fangs, and claws are replaced with their respective human equivilants. He also likes to spend his time at home with his mother and father when he is not out adventuring in the world because many demons would not accept a mere pup as he would be considered to be out all alone in the world and because he has not found the one person in the world that he would have as his life-mate. He also speaks the language of demons in addition to common. Past: His mother was once a master samurai in the service of a shogun lord until she was betrayed by the people she thought that she could trust which is inadvertently how she med Shin, a wandering Nekoyoukai (Cat demon), and together they fought off her betrayers. After that moment Shin swore an oath on his honor as a demon, and that is a very high honor, to stay with her and protect her from any who would seek to do her harm. Within a year they became life-mates, which as he explained to her is even more meaningful than a husband and wife. When they were mated Mariko, Neko's mother, was bonded to Shin's life force increasing her life span to match his. Six months after Shin and Mariko's mating, Neko was born. Ever since Neko could walk he has trained with both of his parents as a swordsman. Though he is extremely young for a demon the traits he gets from his mother alllow him to be as mature as a normal human would be at that age. During his first adventure outside of his hometown he was wandering through the lands and heard of a wanted man who was terrorizing young women with his Kusari-Gama, a sickle-like weapon on a ten-foot chain with a five-pound weight on the other end for hitting things, so Neko decided that it would a good chance to make a name for himself in the world. The battle between them when they finally met face to face was on the night of a new moon which meant that Neko would be at his weakest in terms of strength, but he pressed on nonetheless. The resulting battle lasted until morning with neither combatant being in a winning or losing position but when the sun rose Neko started to transform back into his demon form. This startled his opponent long enough for Neko to capture him in his own Kusari-Gama. This is how he came into posession of the Kusari-Gama he now carries with him everywhere. [/quote]
