replied on: 5/14/2003 10:39:26 AM Character Name: Jared Soldavi Nickname: Race: Human (Undead) Class: Aristocrat/Thief Age: 209 (Eternally 25) Height: 6'2" Weight: 227 lbs. Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Ice Blue Skin Tone: Tanned Deity: None Description: Jared Soldavi was born the fourth son in the aristocratic Soldavi family in the Roman Empire. As their youngest son, he was not in line for the family inheritance at any point in the near future. He was very skilled with a sword and a rapier as well, having won as many as thirty duels before his eighteenth birthday. He was well loved by those that knew him and, at times, feared by those that did not. It was not until his twenty first birthday that he began to realize some of his admirers were more than they seemed. At first, it was just small things, a gesture or movement that was either too fast or too slow or words spoken in his ear while noticing the speaker was across the room. Naturally, these beings fascinated him and he strayed farther and farther from his "usual crowd" and began drawing closer and closer to his "new friends". Little did he realize that this was the beginning of the final chapter of his mortal life. He had four years left, though he did not know it and it was about this time that he began directing his energies towards more...reckless pursuits. He had never wanted for anything. He merely bought what he wanted and that was that. But something deep inside of him was saying that this was not enough. He began making extended trips to surrounding cities in order that his family would not discover the true nature of his absences. You see, he had discovered, quite by accident, that he had quite a knack for acquiring things that belonged to others. Most of these things he sold, opening accounts in his name with the money from the sales, some, he kept. Within two years time, he had made quite a name for himself, both with the aristocracy and with the less reputable members of society as well. Time passed quickly for him during this time. It seemed he was Caesar himself. On the evening of his twenty fifth birthday, there was a grand celebration at his father's house and it seemed the whole upper class had turned out for it. He was only interested in one guest, though, almost as if she were calling to him. He had had his eye on her, or to be more precise, her manor and belongings for quite some time now. She was the Contessa De Rochaud, a very well to do widow from the city twenty miles to the south of his own. He had already planned everything. This was to be his birthday present to himself. He would not find out until later that this was precisely what she wanted. Tonight, his new life and education would begin... |
