Some classes, like Ranger, gives "virtual" feats at 1st level. Some classes give bonus feats when you've reached a certain level in the class. All this is covered in the character creation chapter. Maybe you downloaded a poor SRD version, but it's actually easier to follow than the PHB is...[/quote]
