I tried to tell you that when we bought it, and after I read the stuff. But, no... you had to believe it wasn't. Heheh. Actually, it was fighting that plague rat that made the characters too powerful, really.

Yeah, that Ogre was nasty. My bard wasn't weak either.

Come to think of it... EQ RPG is a powergamer/munchkin's wet dream.

Yeah, especially if you decide to be cheesegod and multiclass. Remember the ogre? Too powerful.

True enough. The way that they changed it to fit d20 is sometimes very impressive. I don't think they actually spent the time and looked over everything carefully.

Huh? It doesn't "make" it EQ. If anything, the overpowered, abusive, godlike spells makes EQ EQ. Oh, and jewelry. Way too impressive, for nothing.

Eh, you want to take away one of the things that makes EQ EQ. Heh. Perhaps I will.

I'll play, but only if we drop the race/class restrictions. I don't like them, and they don't make a lot of sense. Oh, and don't expect me to want or use a bind point (an almost useless idea for a tabletop game... though, it does exist in D&D... strangely enough)

So, is anyone actually interested in actually playing?

Sure we can. I can have 3 characters at a time.

I cannot say if a game will be up soon. It seems that you are the only one who has the manuals. We can not play if it is only 1 person.

I'm sure you'll try. Metagaming cannot be undone.
