Sneak attack is applied whenever your opponant is denied their Dexterity bonus. Remember: BLUFF IS YOUR FRIEND. Armor check penalty is what is applied from wearing armor, you are not moving as gracefully as if you were to be wearing simple cloth, so you are penalized. On all physical skills, such as Tumble, Move Silently, Balance, Hide, etc., you take penalties for wearing any armor, as it is restrictive (unless your armor specificly states that it has no armor check penalty)
