The downtown area is wonderful and you've got two huge rivers in town. Not to mention Mt. Hood in the background and a nice cool climate...oh and a LOT of great beer! hehe |

replied on: 6/27/2005 10:31:00 AM There's public transportation pretty much everywhere in Portland. It is a VERY well planned city. Be sure to keep an eye out the window as you fly into town, Mt. Hood on a clear day is insanely beautiful from a plane...or on the ground. Are you guys going to have any spare time where you can get out of the city? There are a lot of cool things within an hour's drive. |
