replied on: 7/25/2003 9:53:17 PM Why London? Someone once said that London is the clearing house for the rest of the country, and I think that's absolutely right. Whenever I go there it seems to be full of commuters, tourists, students, asylum seekers and the dispossessed. Does anyone actually live there permanently? Would anyone actually want to live there permanently? I think not. Nice enough for a day or two to visit the war museum and Madame Tusauds, but you wouldn't want to spend too long there. And nobody seems to want to look you in the eye. It's the unfriendliest place on the planet in my estimation. Give me any of the world's capital cities, they're much more welcoming than our big smoke. |

replied on: 7/27/2003 2:34:41 AM It pains me to say that I spent the late afternoon surveying the women's attractiveability in town, and I found very little to deny the claim of ugliness of Brummie women. Can't prove the women I viewed were all Brummie, but on my travels I saw ONE attractive person. She was a kinda Judy Finnigan clone. (Maybe it was just my obsession with mammoth expanses of bosom.?.) There was one point when I walked past a shop window and caught my reflection. Exceedingly attractive. But a disappointment in general. A lot of women resembling trees, skips, Luke Chadwick etc, but fortunately I am sufficiently liberated to see beyond the physical appearance!!!!!! |

replied on: 7/27/2003 9:59:15 PM if you go into solihull there are loads of sexy birds! but i guess it doesn't realllly count as birmingham. go to broad street on a friday or saturday night. there are lots of sexies around then too. they don't come out in the daytime so its not fair to say there aren't many attractive ladies. |

replied on: 7/28/2003 1:39:39 PM Has it not crossed anyone's mind that all the best-looking birds have been snapped up, made pregnant, and are now housewives looking after the kids. The ones you see on the streets are obviously left-overs that no-one wants, so no wonder you don't see many lookers out and about. Go knocking on a few doors, however, and you will see some real stunners, but you'll also probably get a few punches in the face by irate husbands. |

If they have something, I haven't discovered it yet -- sorry ladies. (Yeah, all my girlfriends have been out-of-towners, or with blood from far away.) Maybe this means I'm not a true Brummie if I don't feel much attracted to the gene pool around here ... ? Hmmm ... something to think about, I guess. |

Anyone who has lived a little knows that the world ain't black and white, and anyone who's a true Midlander knows that north and south don't mean jack shit round here. Is this why you're called binobro - because you're only capable of seeing and experiencing the world in two dimensions ('binocular', meaning 'having two eyes', comes from the Latin 'bini', meaning 'two together', and 'oculus', meaning 'eye'). You should get out a bit more. Maybe then you might meet a few Brummie lookers, but I doubt whether they'd be interested in a saddo like you. |
