| racheymaus old hand Rank: Chinny | Cheese posted on: 9/5/2003 7:31:06 PM How can this city be the splendid conurbation as we claim when we don't even have a Brummie cheese. Cheddar and Leicester and Cheshire and Monterey and Gorgonzola all have cheeses named after them. Lichfield even has one, for pity's sake, although I don't think it's actually called "Mature and Creamy Lichfield". Come on, all you amateur dairy enthusiasts out there. I want a new cheese invented and marketed especially for Birmingham. You have until mid October. I want a couple of dozen truckles for Christmas presents. That'll show 'em! |

replied on: 9/5/2003 11:43:25 PM If we are to have a new cheese to celebrate the city it must have a unique style. Keeping cows, sheep, goats (the traditional cheese giving animals) is not suited to our fair city. If i may be bold enough to make a suggestion you could make cheese from pigs or preferably cats in an urban environment. |

replied on: 9/5/2003 11:53:11 PM We have women. It's been a while, but I'm sure I could produce a drop or two more milk, if requested. What kind of coagulant would be best to ferment human breasty milk? Would anyone want to eat human brie, cause I've tried breast milk and was far from impressed! Peaky, you've lost your place on my christmas card list after that comment. Did you not realise we have (nearly) 70 year olds present? Have some decorum. Does one more usually show decorum than possess it? |

replied on: 9/7/2003 12:34:51 PM Albert Bore has tits, but I don't think he'd take too kindly to being milked, and I don't think the exercise would be very fruitful either. |
