Apparently we have the largest number of kids in care, hence the high council tax. I know we're big, but still, a bit shit. As long as we have a newly designed Birmingham logo every few years, and can afford to send councillors abroad to look at revolving doors, and can make bids for shitty events that were never coming our way. First things first.

I say contraceptives in with the fluoride, compulsory parenting lessons and procreation under license. Anyone smart enough to figure a way round the bureaucracy is smart enough to raise a kid. Who's with me?

This trend should soon begin to show signs of reversing since the RSUs were installed beneath the turnstyles at the Blues and Villa grounds last December... and selected branches of Greggs.

(RSU = radioactive sterilization unit.)

I think that's a very good idea. I went to the Eastern Curry House last night (opposite the Wheatsheaf). There was a girl in there approximately 20 years of age, and approximately 8/9 months pregnant. She was smoking (a lot - one after the other), was quite clearly pissed and ordered a double bacardi and coke. Social Services ought to lay in wait for her to go into labour and then place the child with a family who'll give it a chance.

Aye. Makes me think of that Bill Hicks sketch - 'Wow! Another little miracle..'
I'm tutting with you LL, though thought of 9 months without being even a little bit drunk is kind of scary...

Rachey - have you come across the Germaine Greer suggestion that guys are made infertile as soon as they start producing sperm - samples of which are collected before, then saved and stored by the state? People then wanting to breed would have to apply for their sperm and undergo a thorough grilling that determines their suitability and commitment to raising a child. Is that what you're meaning by procreation under license?

You can have a drink in moderation whilst pregnant, but she was really pissed.

In keeping with the thread, how about compulsory euthenasia for those who perform under par in IQ Tests, who cannot display 'good' genetics, and do not possess the ability to be witty about the poor at dinner parties...

The other customers weren't up to much either. Mingers.

Lovely food and friendly service though. It's probably better to go there early evening before the pubs start spilling out.
