I worked at the old Corporation Street dole office in 1980 and some bloke came in and asked me for a signing on card (a UB40) card. I explained he needed to make a claim and he said 'no, it's for an album cover for a band'. Yeah. Right. I gave him the card.. and the rest is history. Great band too. |
