| WHORYA Rank: Chinny | NATIONAL PUB WEEK posted on: 2/23/2004 7:16:43 AM I was told it's this week so i think we should all frequent as many estblishments as possible and post a review of them on here.We were inthe black horse before the match yesterday ,the pub is a cracking place for a drink .the beers tops and the service is good would highly recommend it ,if your not to keen on sports though i wouldn't bother go somewhere else. |

replied on: 2/24/2004 1:51:43 PM We can't have National Pub Week in Brum, they're knocking all the decent ones down because of that ridiculous Millennium Point (less) crap. |

replied on: 2/25/2004 1:45:06 PM Eventually all the nice pubs in the city center will go and we'll be left with poxy suit pubs which are over priced boring places that office people go to because thats probably the only time they're allowed to drink by their wives, boring b a s t a r d s ..sorry about that i'm just thinking about the tossers i work with. |

replied on: 2/25/2004 1:52:41 PM It's just not cricket. Some of the pubs down Digbeth will be full of people who just want to go out for a drink as I'm assuming the City Council haven't earmarked any of those for a knock-down/closure just yet. How big do they want the City Centre to be anyway? I wonder if we'll be allowed to keep the Sack of Spuds in Gosta Green? |
