| BrummieExpat Rank: Jasper | An Observation posted on: 3/12/2004 7:00:49 PM Has anybody noticed that some people only come on here for a short time and then just bugger off without so much as a goodbye? I was looking through some of the other threads and noticed that people like Exiled hasn't said much for a while (unless I've missed it) and Harbinger hasn't said much since his initial posts. Are they likely to come back, or is it good riddance to them? Also, do us regulars get a Brucie bonus? How about it Bounds, free badges all round at least. |

replied on: 3/13/2004 8:41:28 PM One thing I have noticed abvout this site is that it indexes very quickly and very prominently. One need only type in a key phrase such as "Birmingham prostitutes" and it will almost immediately come up first in a google search result(eg., by visiting businessmen). My guess is that others have chanced upon the site by a chance search incorporating the word Birmingham + (balti) (grindcore) (cadbury's) (chinn) (bullring) (moaning) &c. Thus they stay merely to say hello then cast us aside like a piece of rubbish...indeed 100 of the 209 members listed have posted 2 or fewer times! NB Answer: Balsall Heath |

replied on: 3/14/2004 7:02:11 PM quote: Indeed. The way I found out about this site was when Mitton did a "vanity" google search for himself, and the first thing that came up was Ariel's first post about him. |

replied on: 3/16/2004 4:41:27 PM I thought everyone knew that DTBD is peakyblinder and also Mrs Vera Jenkins. Those times when Peaky answers questions asked of other members, indicating he is in fact those aformentioned members, is just to throw us off the scent. And Bounder is obviously the real Mr mitton. And I think I might be living on a campsite in France but I'm not sure. Obviously. |

replied on: 3/17/2004 12:20:09 PM I say we should change the site name to Birmingham: It's Not Schitzophrenic (or Shit). The I Disagree forum would be chocker. No it wouldn't. Yes it would. No it wouldn't etc. Anyway the voices in the radiator told me write this. I'm Ariel and so is my wife. |

replied on: 3/18/2004 1:56:28 AM The BiNS people I've met so far are Bounder, Ariel, pixie mason, liquorlicence, WHORYA, Zippoid, Doc Sausage, niccolomac (Dr Paul Lester), and of course Barriminge/Derredah (Charlie Mitton). So that's nine altogether. Has anyone met any more than that, or is that a record? |

replied on: 3/18/2004 9:31:39 PM I was trying to anticipate the perfect peaky response to this topic, and have to say 'you''ve outdone yourself, 'love'. Note to self: inverted commas are a tad pretentious, the overuse of inverted commas is lazy and annoying, and inverted comas are a reasonable way to avoid work. Think on. I had a dream about Pixe and LL and feel like I've met them. They were pulling pints for me. LL's real name was Jill or Jean, something like that? Does that mean anything to anyone? An illness or accident. The suffering is over. I'm sensing there were problems over the money, Harold, no it's like Harold, it's Bill, no Jim, no Mike. It's a man from the otherside who had a birthday in nineteen eighty five, he says not to worry. Both girls were very pretty. And attentive. Skilled professionals, in fact. I've said too much. |
