| DrVeraJenkins old dear Rank: Jasper | Titles for Vera's books posted on: 12/8/2006 11:20:24 PM Well it's Christmas time again and I'll be out and about in the city centre over the weekend trying to peddle my famous range of Midlans based local history books such as: '75 Great Karzies and Coalsheds that withstood the German Blitz on Coventry' 'Well known Drinking Songs of Bournville' (a pamphlet) 'An Oral History of the Service Users of Barnes Hill Dogs Home' best on audio CD as the text transcription is largely repetition of the word 'woof' ...and of course the best selling 'The Day The Corporation Bulldozed Our Yard - a miscelany of slum clearance reminisances. But should the creative juices finally dry up, what book titles would you add to Vera's famous local history book range? |

However, I do remember talking to some guy who absolutely insisted that he was at Mother's in Erdington on the night the Floyd recorded the live side of Ummagumma - even after I'd pointed out that he would only have been about five years old at the time. |
