Brum Blitz

I've always been interested in Birmingham during WW2, but we mostly only here about the London Blitz (understandably, of course).

Do you know of any details about the Brum Blitz, more specifically around the south of the city? Pics would be great.

I've done a web search, but nowt relevant comes up.

Ta.

I think that the pupils at Swanshurst School have just made an online database which contains records of what streets in Bham were bombed on particular dates during WWII. It was launched on the radio the other week. I'll get the details off my mate.

www.swanshurst.org/barra

You can search by street or name / date and it will tell you any injuries / deaths...
