I suppose what really pisses me off about him is knowing that I could do his job far better than him - no question about that. Mind you, I wouldn't want to get into an argument with the geezer. I saw him shambling around town a while back and he looks like he could pack a hefty punch. |

replied on: 10/24/2007 10:54:41 PM On second thought, I've decided that he doesn't really belong on the Shit List after all, as, when compared with the profoundly shit nature of my previous recommendations for the list - burglars and happy-slappers - his having an irritating prose style only renders him shit on a very superficial level. So - unless it was him who broke into my flat a few years back, or happy-slapped my old mate Guitar Sam - I'd like to take him off the list, and just say "sorry Mr Jackson." |

As I read it, you were declaring him "shit" when compared against generally acceptable standards for a freeloading journo, sorry, I mean distinguished restaurant critic and that he did not pass muster. A A Gill would be turning in his oven if he knew of this. Have you had another brush with Mr Jackson and are you now expecting a four hour lunch at the Plough and Harrow on the strength of it? |
