replied on: 8/10/2006 3:33:54 PM When did they kill good old Kong? No, the vandals pushed him over and broke his arm and did his back in but he's lived to fight another day. At his age I bet he's got osmosis in his fibreglass too. I reckon his tale is a more than passing parallel to the original tragic film. Anyway he now belongs to a company called Spook Erections and it doesn't get any better than that. Maybe we'll have a treacly "Black Beauty" style ending and with him seeing out his days in a centrally heated indoor market. Talking of Spook Erections, I've had a few of them in my time believe me, normally at the most inopportune moments, like when taking the dog to the vets or when staring at big plastic monkeys in the Bullring. |

We wanted to use a picture of some kind of big statue like King Kong or Godzilla in an ad. When we googled "King Kong statue," one of the image choices was the shot on this page. It's really perfect - we can't find anything that we'd rather use. But we need to get in touch with the person who took the picture. Can anyone on here help with that? |

It'd look like Mr Kong (I don't believe his monarchy was ever legally or formally recognised) was either reprimanding Mr Brasso (for an ill placed spot of fertiliser, perchance?) or conducting him (to join the Salvation Army in a sweet rendition of away in skull island. That would be funny funny funny. |
