I really enjoy this website, and find it a source to alot of information, not just bout bollywood, but bout Indian culture.

Gabahd, you really need to check some of Lars Von Trier's earlier film out, if you think the Idiots is his best. Or try to get 'The king is Alive', by Kristian Levring, another Dogma-brother. (its in english, but danish produced, and my favorite Dogma film, but very different from Trier tho), And I have those "Reading this interesting post on Bollywhat, is more important than those 120 pages homework I have to read ". Very Bad habit

hey Nat, thanks for the tip... I do wish to check out more of Lars Von Trier and other Dogma films. My friend showed me the TV show he did... it's in a hospital, I don't remember the title, I only saw the first 2 episodes and was very curious to see the rest. Have you seen it? Probably, since you're dane, I think it was a danish show too, not sure though.. I really enjoy Butoh too, at least what I saw of it. Are you into performance art? you can email me if you want (via my profile) if you don't wanna take up forum space for nothing! if you wanna post it I don't mind either

He directed "Breaking the Waves," right? One of my favorite films of all time. And the soundtrack is superb.

Yeah Riget/The Kingdom was a danish TV series by Lars von Trier. (He actually made a sequel three years later). And its sure worthwhile to check out, if you like creepy, haunted hospitals , Well its actuallly the most entertaining and intelligent grotesque horror-series (Also cut into a film, I think), ever made. But consider to watch it with someone else, or you might not sleep too well

He also directed "Breaking the waves", and it might be one of the most famous things he did (I think its a masterpiece, but not quite sure I like everything bout it, and how he portray his women), and what made Nicole Kidman declare she had!! to work with him. Have you seen his Dogville yet? Or isnt it up in Canada?

And yes im into physical arts, and whats moves you and makes you think, and mixing so called old respected literary masterpieces with today. Currently Im working with Jean Genet: "The Maids". But im not getting paid (friend definition of succes and professional work), and im not sure if it can be called performance arts

Gahbahd please mail me if you like, just thought some of the other people might think the whole movie discussion might be interesting. Its my impression that people on this board are generally culturally interested, and not just only Die Hard Bollywood (SRK)fanatics , or I might be wrong.

Interesting info bout Danes and Bollywood:
At the respected Night Film Festival the Danes voted the following winners:
02 LAGAAN
03 Devdas
(and people fought for tickets to Devdas and they had to have several extra performances)

I also love the movies and TV (even though I haven’t been watching much since BW came into my life). Don’t really have a all time favorite movie, but I do like the old and the new. With TV the only thing that has been able to tear me away has been Joe Millionaire, American Idol, The OC and The Family.
