The Communist Party did indeed exist in India prior to the 1940's. It got its start in the early 1920s as an economic protest to British rule and laws. It wasn't *quite* the communism we all know about, but it was similar. I don't know if it has anything to do with Mehboob's logo, just wanted to point out that communism did exist in India.
