When you spend faction points on attaining a hireling, do you lose him permanently when he dies along with all the spent faction points? That's all, thankyou

I believe the faction points go with him--otherwise, there isn't much of a loss. Purchasing of Faction items (equipment, hirelings, etc.) is meant to be a sink.
