Chat room RPG for Galaxies

Hello Galaxies RPGers.

I am Darkstar,

I have recently created a chat room with the soul purpose of offering real time RPG’s in preparation for the Galaxies game release. Chat: http://chat.projectjj.com/swg/

Some perks of the chat room is, it allows you to use pictures of your characters for all to see. You can when registered create profiles which are open to all to read. Registering is free and not necessary for Rping in this chat. Anyone is welcome to rp even if they do not register.

Text color can be chosen to best suit your character and a color code URL page will be posted on the board for those who do not know the codes.

Also on the board is a basic intro to the chat for those who don’t know and I will soon be getting up a list of rules that will make the Rping more fair and hopefully more realistic and fun for all.

On the chat there is a 10 second delay between posts. This allows for more thinking time and in-depth/descriptive posts as well as less missed information and posts. It is also useful if you are a big multitasker you can be sure you will not miss much in the chat.

All chats Rped in the chat room are also logged. So if you wish later on to check back on previously rped days, you may do so by clicking on MANUAL and then clicking on complete log. The Manual also informs you of General Commands such as making your text bold, Italic, or underlined.

The chat also offers a collection of Midi Music that you may listen to while you rp. We have an extensive collection of SW midis to choose from as well as some Non SW ones.

Those people who chose not to pick a name before entering the chat will be given the name Jawa as a generic No Name tag. To change your name in chat without having to log out again simply type /nick (insert nick name, without brackets)

Speaking OOC or Out of Character in the Chat is show by posting all Entries contained within These (( )) . Actions are posted within * * Speaking is free and does not have to be contained between anything. Thinking to ones self in a chat is usually show by placing the thought between ~ ~.

Now that I have given you an introduction to the chat I do hope you will visit it and RP. It can be great fun and Warning, very addictive. Together we can make a great story.
