I'm new to ORPG's so i've got no idea what you guys mean. I've read the section on PA's in BBStation but how are you guys already making them.

well basically, we get a bunch of like-minded individuals together and form an organization based on those preferences. It usually helps to have a website to help promote your organization, and, well, to help
organize it. Message boards so your guild/PA can communicate are also necessary. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at crescentorder@hotmail.com, and I'll explain the PA process further.

doesn't take much GL--just a group of people with a little creativity and common goals who are saying that they plan to commit to each other when the game begins.

That's exactly what happened with my old guild on UO--before the beta ever began, I simply saw a very basic webpage outlining a group and what they stood for and wanted to do. I liked those principles, so I started conversing with a few of them on message boards and the rest was history (our own beloved resident hottie ShadowCat was one of those people by the way ).

These were all complete strangers to me, but we had very similar views about what we wanted to do and to get out of the game. And over the months of discussing the game, our intended characters, and life in general, we gelled into a family of sorts.

When the game finally DID start, we were so familiar with each other and the characters we planned to play that it all fell into place smoothly and was frankly one of my best gaming experiences to date.

THAT is what is good about starting a PA early. And I wish you only the best in experiencing exactly what I did.

That's one of the main reasons I am so passionate about the PA Database--I know what it meant to me to find my guild, and I want to provide a place where people of ALL types of various programming and organizational skills (and even the complete lack thereof) can come to find the RIGHT GROUP FOR THEM without the burden of having to hunt for it all over the internet.

Am I proud of the database?--you're damned right!

Of course, it helped the gaming experience because it was UO
