In coorrection to this post.. Yes there are PVP Missions for Bounty hunters. You get missions to take out Jedi. At the moment they are broken (This is correct) but Devs say it should be fixed "Mid Feburary 2004 Patch". I dont believe that it will be fixed that soon.. but it is going to be fixed. Just wanted to clear up the information.

Pvp is very broken right now

with the commando changes its nearly impossible for riflemen to pvp because the flamethrower counts as a melee weapon. So if u have my rifle armed and a commando shoots me at 50 meters with his flamethrower i take 2.5x the damage... on a 1000+ damage weapon, thats going to hurt, bad...

with with the 25% damage rule i still can get hit for 700 or more...

that and the revenge tef has got to go...

No missions to kill other players. And I don't think you will ever see any unless there is a way for people to somehow buy in to a PvP criminal system (I've suggested something along those lines before--so have others).

PvP is fun, but I think there are a number of things in the works that will make it better down the line. Still, there is no such thing as non-consensual PvP in SWG--so you will have to buy in via the Faction system, or find someone to consent to a duel.

Another question i have, i was playing on my friends account. I enjoyed it, but i know i am no where near PVP quality... was wondering how good PVP is. I played AC2 and the vs mobs and quests where fun, but pvp sucked hardcore... So.. how good is pvp.. it sounds like with bountry hunters it might be fun...

also, if you are a BH, do you get assaing missions to kill other players?
