replied on: 9/24/2003 12:50:34 PM Before I learnt of ChatArea, I always used ezBoard. Oh sure, it was good at first, and I set up a game development forum there. It had a lot of potential, until their damn CSC gold trial expired. And with that, they placed adverts that took up the entire screen on 1024x768 resolution. My forums almost instantly died, for which I never forgave ezBoard. Then I discovered ChatArea. And while it may not be quite so rich in features, it is one of the easiest, most user friendly message board services I've ever seen. And the ads are actually a reasonable size that don't discourage visitors from viewing your board. And with a great community of users, plus an owner who listens to the users whenever they have feedback or need help, it's the greatest service I'd ever expect, expecially for free. So I too, close my post with these two words - Thank you. |
