replied on: 8/10/2003 7:09:02 PM i squashed it before it got even bigger. it was one of the fastest growing forums on Chatarea. i am closing the Dale before it gets too big and i can't close it. reasons for closing the Dale: -it had Icewind's in the name. i'm no longer Icewind. so how can it be mine? -it had a huge bandwidth requirement. 56k users took forever loading pages and couldn't view any of the cool stuff -there were several unnessassary forums -new forums were needed -all the hyper linking was giving me a headache -the theme of the game Icewind Dale was getting old fast. i don't even play the game much anymore. i play Diablo 2 and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. on the good side, The North is growing ALOT faster than the Dale ever did. this is a major positive sign The North is my final forum. i will never close it, nor make a new forum. |
