| Tears_Of_The_Dying Quote | Reply | | Cool Legends posted on: 11/15/2003 12:40:05 PM with the creation of the first Dale, i learned alot about how to make a forum. it was small and short lived. then came The Dale. it had 6,000 posts and had extremely fancy backgrounds and coding for things like snow. but alas, it hindered 56k user performance and was severely limited in it's design. true greatness showed itself when The North was born. it glowed brightly amongs the other forums and rose to #7 in all of Chatarea with 14,000 posts. but when remodling was attempted, the weakness within shown through. it was almost impossible to change it, so it too fell. but now, i introduce the newest and greatest of my forums. i have learned from the failures of designs of The Dale and The North. i bring you, Cool Legends it is fixed of all the problems that hurt the previous forums. it is 56k user friendly, flexible, and has a wide variety of forums. please come in and say hi  |

replied on: 11/20/2003 10:15:21 PM -it was unflexible. this became apparent during the remodeling. i couldn't make it feel one way after it was designed to feel another way. -it was too specific on North, Coldness, etc. hence this also helped it be to stiff. -i wanted a flexible, cool, varied forum. when i looked at how cheesy The North was, i might as well have just made a whole new place; which i did. there are less problems than The Dale had, but they were powerful. CL is about perfect. it's flexible, cool, and covers about everything
