replied on: 3/21/2004 2:29:54 PM actually viewing before is a good idea maybe in order to view results before voting, you should have a view results link that will only let you view results if they type in a password. or maybe an admin can controlevery forum and decide which they can view and which they cant. or maybe only admins or mods can view ahead of time. or.... i could go on forever |

replied on: 3/22/2004 3:47:43 PM Tossing in my two cents. Perhaps there is away for the person who posts the poll to decide when the polls results can be seen. What I mean is when the poll is being made, the person can decide how long the poll will be in effect, say a week or two as an example. Once the time frame is up the board would automatically display the results. I'm not really sure why anyone would want to view before hand, seeings how it may just effect their honest opinion. My thoughts are, whats the sense in a poll if anyone can view the results and add their vote. |
