If you are really worried about it, try downloading "Spy Bot: Search and Destroy" It is a FREE program that searches your system and removes or breaks or replaces with dummy files all harmful or hiding files that track your internet use. The worst ones are from Gain and Gator... They sell you out and track you every move on the internet. |

replied on: 2/29/2004 6:09:27 PM you could also use lavasoft ad-aware, and gator an't the worst program out there, that's only medium priority, I had one that was horrible, sent atleast 5 pop-ups every time i click a page and tracked every site i went to and sent it slowing down my connection a lot, can't remember it's name though. |

replied on: 3/2/2004 7:05:25 AM it's name was likely Microsoft  internet explorer tracks every page you hit and sends that along to M$...though it does it quietly...if you want big brother, you're looking in the wrong direction, look at M$! do you know whos spying on your computer?
