Their the ones with all the power -lol- Actually the administrator is the person who runs the boards. They have the ability to password the forum or leave it open to the public, choose if someone needs to register or not before anyone can post, ect.. Categories- When the board is being made, this allows the board to be listed in a category listing. Description- The text that is displayed beneath the forum name, that describes what the forum is used for. Forums- This is a web based interface where anyone can go and post messages and converse on the spectrum of topics. Header- The text and/or image that will appear at the top of a forum. Example- lil redhellion's place. Posts- The text writing that a member or visitor posts to a board for others to read and may reply to. Society Description- This refers to the description of the overall board. It is used in the public listing of your board so others may see what the board is all about. Thread- The entire tree of messages branching out from the first message. This is but a few but I will add more as I go. |
