I know this because he told me and then attempted to unlock it and told me he was unable to. After this RPG moved to conforums is when he hacked in and closed it. I was the head admin at the new site and am the holder of the copyright stuff, and I'm trying to grab a few things from the old site that would be useful. Can anyone help me with this dilemma or should I post this in a different area? And if any of the chatarea staff remember, the guys character name is Vincent. He tells me that he figured out a way to use the Chat Area server as his own sometime ago and that the administration got in a bit fo a flurry.. |

replied on: 7/25/2004 4:20:28 PM I am the owner of ChatArea.com and I don't remember anyone ever using ChatArea.com for thier own use. I am not sure what you want to use from your current society if you already moved it to somewhere else besides ChatArea. From what I can tell, your not even the owner of this society, unless Vincent hacked your account because you didn't have a secure password and changed it to the current name. So with that in mind, I don't even know if your really the owner of the society or not. |

Like I said, I'm wondering if I can be allowed access or have the community open to public since it was never suppose to be closed like that. The owner's account (Kelda Toron) has gotten into by Vincent after he locked me out of the new site and I've been trying to recover data from the old site to restart. Is that possible? I didn't think Vincent was telling the truth about using your server, thanks for clearing that up too. |
