| thardferrionfreak Quote | Reply | | a little php help posted on: 1/21/2005 4:24:18 PM i was just wondering if this is possible, i just started learning php, actually i just learned how to combin php with html and the print function so far. but i was wondering if it would be possible to make a script that had 2 drop down menu's. i would like to use this for my calander, normally i would not be so impacient and just wait until i got far enough into the book on php to make it myself, but i would like to put this on my site soon. i plan on having a calander, but when you click on the link to it instead of just going straight to the calander it will bring you to a page first with this option (if possible). please select year [drop down box one] please select mounth [drop down box2] [submit button] when you choose the year in drop down box 1 it would change the directory and drop down box 2 would change the file name examples. right know you at the site http://www.somewhere.com/calander/ you choose year 2005 in the first box and mounth of april. when you hit submit you go to http://www.somewhere.com/calander/2005/april.htm if you choose year 2007 and mounth of july you would go to http://www.somewhere.com/calander/2007/july.htm is this possible? i know this might sound confusing, i'm never good at putting a plan into words so if you don't get it i can try to tell it differently. site www.lctrumpets.uni.cc being redone, so parts might be down if you look. |
