It is a joke and ghod isnt a typo for those that worship, God. OK, here is the issue. I have a valid banner in creation to have posted on your forum. "Valid" is the key word here. My deff of valid would be a real sight without, shall i say, spyware. So the question, I can tell my members that the links are safe? Are they checked? I do understand the compensation thing usually means a cookie. Is it posible to get a spyware progie from hitting the links on the add banners? Again is it checked? I add advertisers all the time on my sight. When I find they put a spyware prog to those that click it, I put a warning or remove the banner. Will we have the same security on banners posted on chatarea? Lately comp safety is #1 Thanks for your time, |

replied on: 1/26/2003 6:16:02 PM I put the banners up myself. I check them myself, so yes you should, unless they change it on me without knowing it. Which shouldn't happen... We only have a couple right now, so it should be fine. |
