Inserting HTML directly into a post

Is there a way to do this? Or does it have to do with the code feature? if it does, I found a way that moderators can move a thread, and then make a post that forwards you to it.

you'd have to insert this:
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1; URL={Type URL Of Moved Post Here}" >

Then you could post the title as

Topic:Moved

where topic is the previous title of the thread.

This would both save room in the database (vs. making it do it automatically) and still have that cool professional feature look.

You wont be able to put html into a post because of the we write out the page. We write it out in a way so that people can read what you post.

I will be updating the site so that when a post is moved, a ghost will be made of it, so that you can see it was moved.
