quote:That is not true LordBlank. If you save an animated gif, and you save it as the original file (a gif) then it will be saved as a animated gif. You just can't tell it's animated until you view it with a browser.
What I meant; I'm not sure if this is how you interpreted what I said or not, was this. I save a ton of things as .gifs because it sometimes is very useful. I hardly ever make animated .gifs. But what I meant was this, how is the program you're using going to know how you want your .gif animated unless you tell it. What I mean is if I save something as a .gif and open it up in a browser its not going to be animated, unless I used an animation program to make it animated.
Edit.. ohh I think I realize what you thought I was saying. I said it would not animate it for you if you save it as a .gif
That is true and false at the same time lol. What I meant was that because you save something as a .gif it will not know how exactly you want it animated. And I guess what you all thought I was saying was that if you make an animation and save it as a .gif it wont animate it for you; which is false.
