As for confusing catholicism and christianity, I don't think that's happened. But when referring to the crimes of christianity, the catholic church bears the heaviest burden. As for our lives being bad. Honestly, no. Although I can't really fit into the morals of the western society, I don't see myself as a misfit. A bit of a weirdo, maybe, but not a misfit. I've got a decent job, I pay my taxes, I know the law protects me, although I think it has it's inaccuracies. I have a few friends, I have a roof over my head. Wanting to change society for what I, or the others at the forum think would be better, is just normal. Bad home life. Well, my parents did divorce when I was six. And that never scarred me, since I have excellent relations with both of my parents, and all of my family. I've had a good childhood with loving parents, and the best friend anybody can have, a friend I've shared good moments and incredibly bad ones with. Most people aren't that lucky. And I wouldn't call us scared. Not any more than you. Sure there are things that scare us, but if you say there aren't things that scare you, then you are a liar. And about ruining this world. Destruction is just as good as creation, it is an equal force to preserve the equilibrium of the current state of the world. In order to create, sometimes something must be destroyed. Whether it be morals, buildings, societies. Sometimes even humans. It's the history of the world. And you didn't offend me. Just thought I ought to comment since I thought some/most of your statements were erroneous. EDIT: (had to teach a bunch of schoolkids, so I'll continue this now...) As for racism in general. It is no worse than hating homsexuals, yet hating homosexuals is ok on most forums. Voicing racistic opinions is not ok on most forums. Also, DFMF was meant to be a forum where people into the darker side of Metal music can discuss, voice their opinions and debate. Denying people to discuss what they want, in a cilized manner, is something I will never do. Also, there's been only discussion about racism and topics touching it. There's been no flaming or shouting "fukk the n****rs", just discussion about it. And some people have racial views. They should be free to voice them, in a civilized discussion In fact, racists seldom get their voice heard. Supposedly tolerant people are so untolerna when it comes to racism, that they won't even let a racist defend him/herself and his/her views. Since I have always found that to be hypocrisy and idiocy, I will have no part in such censorship, thus "touchy" themes such as racism, anti-homosexuality, anti-christianity, warmongering and such will be allowed at DFMF. If it offends anyone... to quote Type 0 Negative, "I love myself for hating you". Or, more accurately, quoting Sadistik Exekution: "FUKK!" |
