replied on: 7/13/2004 4:26:37 AM I've never used SQL Server, so I don't actually know this, but I doubt there'd be much difference between that and MySQL. But I suppose you'd know better than I would. |

Sure we "could" use mySql but as I have never used it, it would be difficult to switch, and we don't even know about maintaining it like we do SQL Server. SQL Server starts at $5000 and goes up per processer from there. |

replied on: 7/12/2004 4:23:13 PM Apache is completely free and multi-platform. Definitely worth it IMO. I have it set up for personal use on my computer, never had any problems with it. |

replied on: 7/11/2004 11:41:35 PM I know it has been suggested before... but you are so close to it now with the way you have the smiles set up. If you just make an Icon and have it insert just the tag code... well, then we would have um... I only bring this up again because I was trying to convince a friends to go with Chatarea instead of Proborads. He said that he really liked just clicking the button for code instead of trying to remember all the tags. Anyway, just thought I would mention it again. |
